Zoom D2L Integration

Zoom Meetings are now integrated with D2L and can be accessed from the Communications pull-down menu in a default course navbar.

The app includes a basic list of settings for scheduling meetings. Select Schedule a Zoom Meeting to see the options. If more settings are needed, go to the main login page, msu.zoom.us, and add the additional settings to the meeting ID. The D2L app view is synched with your zoom account and will show previous and upcoming meetings. Use Import meeting to add an item previously setup in your Zoom account.

The Zoom Meetings link can be placed in other areas of your D2L course:

  • Place in a Content module, by choosing Existing Activities then External Learning Tools and Zoom Meetings LTI 1.3.
    • To open in a new window, choose edit properties in place from the item's menu and select Open as External Resource.
  • Place in an Announcement, by selecting Insert Quicklink then External Learning Tools and Zoom Meetings LTI 1.3.
    • To open in a new window, select the link again, click on Insert Quicklink and select to open it in a new window.

See the Get Training, link in the Zoom Meetings window for more help.
