D2L uses roles to determine what a user may do in a course. Different permissions are assigned to different roles. You may find you have more than one role, depending on what you do in a course. It is also possible to switch your role temporarily. You might find you need to see what your students would see in a course. It is also possible to impersonate a Demo Student, so you can perform functions as a real student would. This section contains documents which describe these various features.
