How to post course materials on D2L Content?

If you are using the Classic Interface:

Add a Module

It is recommended to create a module called "Start Here" (or "Getting Started") that includes important course information (e.g., course overview and syllabus) before adding other regular modules.

  1. Select Content in the navigation bar.
  2. Click Add a module… in the left sidebar.

  3. Type a title for the module and press Enter.

 

Adding Content to Modules

Within the module(s) you just created, you can add the following items:


If you are using the New Content Experience:

Add a Unit

It is recommended to create a unit called "Start Here" (or "Getting Started") that includes important course information (e.g., course overview and syllabus) before adding other regular units.

  1. Select Content in the navigation bar.
  2. Click + New Unit in the left sidebar.

  3. Enter a Unit Title and a short description if desired. Do not add vital course information to the description area.
  4. Click Save and Close.
