The following issues have been identified by the Desire2Learn Support Team based on our testing and information provided by the MSU Community. We appreciate your help in identifying these issues as we work with the vendor to provide resolution. Reviewing this list will inform you of existing issues with the system and their workarounds.

|10/10/2013 - 15:30||Description of Widget has a limit on characters allowed||
When a entered the Title and Description for the widget you receive a message you cannot exceed 512 characters. When you reduce the description to to up to 504 characters results in a server error.
Limit your widget descriptions to less than 504 characters and it will save with no problem. There is no ETA on when this will be fixed.
|10/03/2013 - 14:30||Not able to adjust the width and/or height of .mp4 movies in HTML||
When you embed a .mov file you can go into the html code and change the width and height numbers. When you embed an .mp4 movie, the changes you make have no effect.
Workaround is to put a player link in an iframe. There is no ETA for fixing.

Competencies don't work when pulled from the organizational level.
They need to be local to the course. If they are located locally the work correctly.
|05/28/2013 - 14:00||Unable to submit files to discussions or dropbox when special characters are in the file name||
These special ASCII characters are NOT allowed in file and folder names:
Problems will arise if file or folder names contain any of these characters. If you attempt to upload a file containing any of these characters, you will receive an appropriate message.
You will then have to rename the file before you can successfully upload it.

Clicking the Log Out link does not close your Single-Sign-On sessions. Users have to quit the browser in order to close the session.
Quit the browser application.
|01/28/2013 - 11:00||Quicklink embedded in Discussions & News Items||
Quicklinks embedded, such as those from News items, are generating 404 errors.
There is currently no workaround.
